Please note that your selected start time for parking must be at least 24 hours in the future (advance booking period = 24 hours), and your booking period must be at least 2 days. Also note that you can reserve a parking space with us up to a maximum of 12 months in advance.
Of course, you don't need to enter the parking facility at the exact minute specified during your reservation. However, in order to plan our shuttle service schedules in the best possible way for you, we kindly ask that you arrive as close as possible to your stated entry time. No, you are not reserving a specific parking space. You are booking a general space within the parking facility or lot you selected. We guarantee that a parking space will be available for you at the chosen location.
Yes, you will receive a confirmation email including a QR code or voucher for entry.
Please first check the spam folder in your email inbox. It’s possible that the reservation confirmation email was automatically moved there. If this is not the case, please send an email including your reservation number and the email address you used during booking to service(at)parkita.de.
If you do not know your reservation number, please provide your first and last name, the booking period, and the parking facility you reserved.
At our pay stations in the PSD Bank Dome, you can pay with credit card, regular debit card (EC card), or cash.
IMPORTANT! Phishing Warning: Recently, fraudsters have been attaching fake QR codes to payment machines that link to online payment sites. Please note: We do not affix such QR codes, and there is no online payment option—payments can only be made by EC card, credit card, or cash.
If you see a QR code stuck to one of our payment machines, please do not use it and inform our staff at the parking facility immediately. Thank you!
Providing your flight number is very helpful for our shuttle service. It allows us to better track your arrival and plan the shuttle accordingly. This way, we can tailor our service to your individual arrival time and reduce waiting times.
Without a PARKITA customer account:
Your data will only be used to process your reservation and the parking procedure. We store this data for 80 days in case you need to make a complaint later. After that period, you would need to provide your own documentation for any claims.
With a PARKITA customer account:
If you have a customer account, we store your data there as long as the account exists. This allows you to view and modify your bookings if needed. You can access and correct your data at any time. Additionally, you can securely save your credit card details so you don’t have to enter them again for future payments. Your account is protected by a password known only to you. You can delete your customer account at any time.
For payment on site:
You can easily change your booking by using the reservation confirmation email you received. There you will find a link that takes you directly to the booking modification page.
Alternatively, you can also change your booking via the booking portal or log in to your customer account and make the changes there.
For advance payment (online payment):
If you paid in advance, you can cancel your reservation no later than 48 hours before the start of the booked period. To do so, please send an email to service@parkita.de. Be sure to include your reservation number, your email address, and your full name. Your cancellation request must clearly state that you wish to cancel.
Please note:
A €3 reservation fee will be retained in any case of cancellation. Additionally, a €10 processing fee will apply. The remaining amount of the parking fee will, of course, be refunded.
Processing will be carried out in accordance with our terms and conditions, including the time limits specified therein.
For payment on site (e.g., at the parking facility upon exit):
To cancel your reservation, please use the cancellation link provided in your booking confirmation email, or log in directly to our portal at parkita.de, where you can cancel your booking easily.
Free cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before the start of your booked period, even via the cancellation link in your confirmation email.

Yes, we do. Throughout the year, we offer different price categories depending on the season. Once you enter your desired time period, the applicable price category will be displayed.

After completing your online booking, you will receive a confirmation email with either a QR code (for parking garages) or a voucher (for open-air parking lots), which you will need for entry.
Parking Garage:
Scan the QR code at the barrier, take the parking ticket – the barrier will open.
Please keep the parking ticket, as you will need it at the pay station when exiting.
Payment at the pay station is possible using cash, debit card (EC), or credit card.
Parking Lot:
Please place the voucher clearly visible behind your windshield and follow the posted instructions.
After your booked parking time ends, you may simply exit the lot – no further action is required.
Exiting later than the time specified in your online booking is generally always possible. However, if you exceed the maximum booked parking duration, the next higher rate may apply.
For example, if you booked a maximum duration of 8 days but park for 9 days, the applicable rate for 9 days will be charged upon exit and may be recalculated accordingly.
Our shuttle service will take you safely to the terminal and pick you up again after your trip. The shuttle bus stop is located directly in front of the parking garage. The shuttle service is free of charge and the travel time is approximately 9 minutes.
All passengers with a valid reservation confirmation will be transported by our individual shuttle bus service within the booked entry and exit times. Naturally, all passengers from the last flight landing in Düsseldorf will still be picked up—no matter how late the flight arrives.
The PARKITA shuttle bus stop at the airport is located on parking lot P12a, below parking garage P2. Follow the signs inside the terminal on the arrival level towards the "Sheraton Hotel" to exit "D." Exit the terminal via exit "D" and walk straight across the crosswalk. After the elevators, turn right (towards "Luggage Storage / Lost & Found"). Walk about 30 meters straight ahead (behind the barrier) until you reach the PARKITA display stand. You’ve made it!
No problem! Of course, we transport all travelers. However, please make sure to enter the correct number of expected passengers when booking. This helps us with planning.
In the minibuses we use for transfers, we provide child booster seats free of charge, which are approved for children weighing 15 kg and above. Children weighing less than 15 kg must be secured with an appropriate child safety system (such as an infant carrier or child car seat) suitable for their weight. This must be provided by the accompanying persons.
Of course, we will transport your luggage with our shuttle bus from the parking garage to the terminal and back. This applies to the usual amount of luggage and the number of passengers specified during booking ("number of travelers").
The transport of oversized luggage (such as surfboards, bike cases, golf bags, etc.) cannot be guaranteed. Please drop off your oversized luggage at the oversized luggage counter in the terminal before parking.
If you are arriving from outside the city via the A52 and drive directly to the PSD BANK DOME, you do not need an environmental sticker. You can find more information about the environmental sticker and where to obtain one here.
Our parking garage is covered — only the top parking deck is uncovered. Your vehicle will therefore be mostly protected from the weather. Additionally, a staff member is on site 24/7 to assist you with any questions. If your vehicle needs a jump start, we will of course be happy to help you with that as well.
With your customer account, you can easily view all your bookings at a glance. You have the option to modify or cancel them. Additionally, for future bookings, you won’t need to enter your personal details again.
You can only create your personal customer account during the reservation process. When you start a reservation request on our website, you have the option to create an account in Step 3 of the reservation process (“Your Details”) by checking the corresponding box. It is not possible to create a customer account outside of the reservation process. After creating the account, you will receive an activation email to confirm your customer account.
Yes, you can easily delete your customer account at any time. Simply log in to your account and click on “Delete Customer Account.”
